Please use the links to the left to find all help and reference materials, how-tos, and best practices for using OPAS and OPAS Lite.

What is OPAS?

OPAS is an online scheduling tool that uses mathematical algorithms and on-position demand to optimize facility start times and shifts, giving facilities the ability to produce efficient, data-driven schedules.

  • Long-term Planning:
    • Allocation of resources
    • Provides transparency and ability to analyze a facility's scheduling practices
    • Aides in local and national negotiations
  • Short/Mid-term Planning:
    • Provides ability to manage and track day-to-day scheduling operations through desktop and web applications
    • Replaces pen and paper, WebSchedule, or other facility "home-grown" scheduling methods
    • Creates audit trails automatically
